Is HapiGuard really free?
Yes. The HapiGuard WordPress plugin is free and open source (GPLv2), with no account required. It protects your ads client-side the moment you activate it. A paid RevHapi plan is optional and only needed for cloud features like geo-blocking, device fingerprinting, anomaly alerts and live analytics.
Do I need an API key to use it?
No. Basic protection works entirely client-side using localStorage — no API key, no sign-up. You only add an API key if you want to connect RevHapi for cloud intelligence and analytics.
Which ad systems does it support?
HapiGuard works with Google AdSense, Auto Ads, and the Google Publisher Tag (GPT / Google Ad Manager). It also blocks vignette and interstitial overlay ads for already-blocked visitors. It runs on both desktop and mobile.
Can it protect against click bombing?
Yes — that's its core purpose. HapiGuard tracks clicks per visitor against a configurable limit within a time window, then bans abusers and hides ads from them. With RevHapi connected, anomaly detection flags click spikes so you can react before your AdSense account is at risk.
What data does the plugin send?
With no API key, nothing leaves the visitor's browser. When connected to RevHapi, the plugin sends an anonymised fingerprint hash and the page URL to app.revhapi.com to apply blocking rules and record analytics. No personally identifiable information is collected.
Can I manage multiple sites?
